Our Crazy Summer!!

We had an amazing and yet crazy summer. We were able to go to camp, update a old classroom, go visit family, finish our basement, and start back at school. Here are a few pictures to show you how far we have come.

Visit from Mom and Dad

It has been so much fun to have Mom and Dad visit with us! Of course it wasn't the greatest news to find out that Ginger likes them both better than us...

A wonderful husband!!

Just a few pics on our Mother's day weekend. Chad suprised me by taking me on a get away for Mother's day weekend. We went to the Homestead in Midway and felt like we were in another world. What a wonderful weekend and escape!! And what an amazing husband!

choir tour

Wow! I think I have done this before! What a great time we had! This is the picture taken as we left town on Day 1!

The next day was Newport Beach. Yes, my first wedding ring is somewhere in that water and sand!

That night we got to see Wicked at the Pantages theater! What an amazing experience! Words don't even describe how amazing that show is!

The next day we competed at Festival and then we were off to Disneyland! We won the Festival!

We also got to see a Dodger's game! Yes, the Dodgers love AFHS!

Finally, it was one more day at Disneyland! Here is us getting to ready to go Soarin' Over California!

Happy Easter!!!

What a wonderful Easter we had! We had friends come for dinner and did the whole Traditional Easter Dinner: Ham, Funeral Potatoes, Deviled Eggs, Green Bean "Goo", Homemade Rolls and of course since we're in Utah, Jello. (Although it was the seven layer special kind. :) )

(I do have to say I am now a Honey Baked Ham Fan. It was so worth it!)

Before everyone came over we made use of the the little amount of sunshine we had today. Ginger loves the green grass, Chad tried to take her for a walk and she refused, so he decided to join her!
Today was a nice break before the final days of prep for Choir Tour.

Back to normal

Well, we are happy to report that our Ginger is back to normal. She has completed her medicine and is as rambunctious as ever. Life continues to move at a fast pace, but we wouldn't know how to act if it didn't. We are anxiously counting days until Amy's parents return from their mission. They leave Connecticut on April 18th and their homecoming is Sunday, April 29th. That same weekend, on the 27th, Eric and Lisa are having their adopted daughter Emie sealed to the family in the Bountiful temple. It will be a great weekend for sure. I will have to do some driving back and forth as I also have Ward Conference in my assigned ward that I need to be in attendance for. I tell ya, High Council is an amazing experience that requires a ton of time and energy. Jon, I need to compare notes with you sometime and see if I am doing it right. Anyway, I am getting better at this. Talk to you all soon hopefully!
