I love new plants!

We purchased beautiful flowers and herbs yesterday. We have a new beautiful green house that I go to in Lehi and it has some of the most gorgeous flowers I have ever seen. I truly have to control myself when I am there! Due to our fab travels this summer and me thinking that it is stupid to have someone come water your plants while we were gone, new flowers were also a necessity...okay, just in my vain mind could they be considered a necessity, but it's also nice to have your house look like you haven't moved and left your sad dead planters for the next inmates.

Super Dooper Pooper

Yes, this is the cutest little girl ever! This was the first time we had met Anna, she warmed up pretty quickly, she is so funny and greets you with Hi! constantly. She was a trooper that is for sure, I have never seen a little one put up with being stuck in a stroller for days or in a car-seat for so many hours. She is a tough little girl and just too cute not to post.

West Point

This was a wonderful tour, we went on the hour tour and went through the museum. We then drove to Sleepyhollow and barley missed a tour through the mill. We then went to the giant outlets...yes with a honey that doesn't love to shop. Chad was a good sport and we were able to visit a few of the stores. I think I could spend a few days there!

Coney Island

Super fun! The land of freaks and geeks, a little more ghetto than food network shows...We had a great time, got a little fried being that close to the waterfront. Had hot dogs, and boardwalk treats! We found a cute little stadium for the Brooklyn Cyclones and found some cute baseball caps. We also were able to drive through a little Russia hidden under the Subway and between the Island and Brighton Beach. We've already decided we need to go check it out when we go back! Yes and we were able to get a taste of Spencer's wicked driving skills, with 3 backseat drivers he could be a candidate for Nascar!

NYC

DOWNTOWN - 1st day- we took the train, walked the city, road the train, had amazing antipasti, hotdogs on the street, and an amazing dinner in Little Italy!

7-6 The Mighty Titans Win!!!

Yes, it is true! The Mighty Titans (Chad's fast pitch Softball team) have finally won a game! Chad is floating about 5 feet off the ground! Their game went very well on Wednesday!
As for the last few weeks, we had a combined activity with the Young Men and Young Women and went to Seven Peaks, we had a good time, but during our great time, we saw ambulances and a firetruck and I asked the leaders I was with, "how would we know if that was one of our kids??" Well, come to find out it was the Young Men's President, he broke his back in 3 places and will be in a large brace for the next 3 to 4 months. Yeah, so scary, this and he has 5 small kids!
Well this last week we didn't go to Youth Conference as planned. Since I didn't have any girls going this year we were suppose to be at my parents house, but with me not feeling well and my parents having the flu we decided to hibernate in our own house. This summer has been such a great time for the two of us and we can't believe it is going to be gone so soon! We are however counting the hours until we leave for New York, super excited!!
